Matira!*?

The same day we arrived in Auckland we went to the Auckland aquarium.

It was just a 10 minute drive out of Auckland. When We went in we saw a special exhibit on the famous Antarctic explorer Robert Falcon Scott. We made our way through the exhibit and saw an exhibit of penguins. one was by the glass looking at everybody! Then the next room was even cooler! You colored in a picture of a fish, scanned it and it would appear on a big screen of all the fish scanned that day! After that we went into a room where there was a conveyer belt that took you through a round tank that was all around you and it had a lot of sharks swimming right above us! We went up a flight of stairs into a seahorse exhibit. We saw “Spiny Sea Dragons” and “Big Belly Seahorses”. After that we picked our photo (you can see it below.) and left. Created by Ben of FiveAdrift.

*Maori for fish.

  6. The underwater tunnel at the aquarium looks so cool! Your mom and dad’s faces in the picture with the octopus are crazy.
