We took a ferry to some big sand dunes. On the boat the guys showed us how to sled down the dunes. Keep your hands on the side and don’t let go. Hold your breath – if you don’t you’ll have a sandwich.
When we got to the beach I went up some stairs to climb down a ladder from the boat. We made Dad go first. Soon I, Luke, went. Mom helped me and it was fun. The hill was big but I wasn’t scared. Daddy did not go in the water the first time, but went in the water later after sledding down the big hill. Walking up the hill the sand was very hot. I went down the big mountain and did not get a sand which. Then I went onto a bigger hill and still I was not scared. I stretched my shirt out. Then we got thirsty and went back.

Sand sledding looks amazing!!! So glad you didn’t become a sandwich!
Great job, Luke!
I’m glad you didn’t get a sandwich!
Looks like you are having a blast.. I am relieved since I just saw this headline……..
“Family who were told they would be deported after ‘causing destruction’ across New Zealand can’t be booted out of the country for nearly two weeks because of legal red tape”… glad that wasn’t you !! HAVE FUN !!
That would have been quite the scandal!!! Thankfully they were Brits.
This looks so much fun. I only like my sandwiches without the sand.
