Shoeing on a Glacier – Queenstown

While we were in Queenstown, we went on a helicopter ride. The cab picked us up and took us to a mini airport, but it did not have airplanes. It had helicopters in helicopter parking spots! First we had to weigh ourselves. Then we walked outside to see our helicopter. We got a nice big black one. It was so fancy. When we walked in the helicopter we got headphones that we talked through. I called them enchilada-cur communicators.

We went over rivers and beaches. Our first stop was a bush walk in Milford Sound. We saw a waterfall. We went back to the Heli and landed on a bunch of rocks, but in about a century it will become a beach. This time they left the Heli on. It was so loud. We went back to the Heli and flew to a glacier. They left it on again but I got used to it. The snow was grey but under the snow was white. The pilot said that the grey is ash from Australia’s fires. I decided to ski down the hill without skis. So you would call that a shoe. Then we took a family photo and then went back to shoeing. Mama and Dada took a turn with a photo but I snuck in. Then we went back to the mini airport.
